Dr. Souzan H. Eassa, an Assistant Professor in Immunoparasitology, boasts an impressive academic background. She earned her BVM&S degree (Veterinary Medicine and Surgery) from the University of Mosul and continued her studies to achieve a Master of Applied Sciences (MAS) degree and a PhD degree with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, USA. Her postdoctoral research associate position focused on Molecular Biology at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), USA. Dr. Eassa's commitment to excellence is underscored by her fellowship with Health Security Partners, USA, and her role as a visiting team member for the National Council for Accreditation of Medical Colleges. Administratively, Dr. Eassa has held pivotal roles, including Acting Dean, Vice Dean, Director of Graduate Studies, and Head of the Anatomy/Biology/Histology Department at Duhok Medicine College. Currently, she serves as the Molecular and Microbiology division coordinator and Deputy of the Medical Education Department at the University of Kurdistan Hewler-School of Medicine. Dr. Eassa's dedication to education extends to her teaching responsibilities, encompassing graduate and postgraduate courses in Immunology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology. Her academic contributions are evident through her publication of more than 32 preclinical sciences-oriented works.
